One row per thing you teach, not per session — "Junior Beginners" is one class even if it runs three times a week.

Common questions

What kind of businesses is SteadyDevs Venue Booking for?

Anything booked by time slot: sports courts and simulator bays, studios and treatment rooms, restaurant tables, equipment or gear rental, salon chairs, meeting rooms and more. You define the resources, prices and hours.

Can customers pay online?

For classes, yes. Class Portal members buy prepaid credit packages online through the HitPay gateway (card, PayNow and whatever methods your HitPay account offers), with credits granted automatically on payment. Manual methods like bank transfer or paying at the counter are supported alongside it; you confirm those before credits are granted. For one-off hourly bookings, payment is currently handled your way outside the plugin (at the venue, by transfer or by invoice). Taking a deposit at booking time is on the roadmap.

Does this include recurring classes, not just one-off slots?

Yes. Class Portal is included with every plan on this page: a second booking mode alongside your hourly form where members log in, buy prepaid credit packages and book off a weekly timetable. It comes with optional per-tier pricing (levels), waitlists for full classes, a printable attendance register, and a "Class Portal Staff" role so the front desk can run it without full admin access. Try the live demo above. (There is a separate free plugin on WordPress.org that doesn't include Class Portal; this page sells the Pro edition, which does.)

Is there a free trial?

Yes: 14 days free on the Starter plan, with no credit card required. You get the complete plugin with every feature unlocked, so you can set up your real resources and take real bookings while you decide. If you do nothing at the end of the 14 days, it simply stops and you're never charged. Professional and Agency don't include a trial, but you can start on Starter and upgrade once you're happy.

What do I actually receive after buying?

Immediately after checkout you get the plugin ZIP to download plus a licence key, both shown on the confirmation page and emailed to you. You upload the ZIP to WordPress and activate it with the key.

What does the licence cover?

Every feature of the plugin, plus updates and support while your subscription is active, on as many sites as your plan allows (1, 5 or 25). Updates install automatically inside your WordPress dashboard.

Which plan do I need?

All plans unlock the exact same plugin; the only difference is how many sites you can activate on. Starter ($299/year) covers one business website. Professional ($699/year) covers 5 sites at $140 each. Agency ($1,499/year) covers 25 client sites at $60 each. Need more than 25? Get in touch and we'll size a plan to your site count. You can upgrade at any time and only pay the difference.

Do staging and development sites use up a licence?

No. Staging, development and local installs (for example staging.yoursite.com or yoursite.local) don't count towards your site limit; only live production sites do.

Can I pay monthly?

All plans are billed yearly. If you'd like to try it before committing, start the free 14-day trial: no credit card, every feature unlocked, and nothing to cancel if you decide it isn't for you.

What are the requirements?

WordPress 5.0+ and PHP 7.2+. For approval emails to land reliably we recommend a simple SMTP plugin (for example WP Mail SMTP), which is standard for any WordPress site sending mail.

Missing a feature your venue needs?

Tell us: send a feature request below and we usually reply within one business day. The roadmap is driven by what real venues ask for, and requests from paying customers are prioritised. If you're on the free version, the WordPress.org support forum works too.

What happens if I don't renew?

Your existing bookings and data stay in WordPress. You simply stop receiving new updates and support until you renew.
