Overage billing: When you exceed your monthly invoice limit, you're charged per extra invoice (RM 0.30–0.80 depending on plan) — not blocked. Overages are automatically calculated and billed at the start of the following month via Stripe. The platform warns you at 80% and 95% of your limit so you can upgrade before you hit the ceiling.

The platform submits invoices via the official LHDN MyInvois REST API using your business's own registered credentials and digital certificate. Each business must obtain their own LHDN intermediary authorization — the platform guides you through this during onboarding. All invoice formats follow the LHDN e-Invoice specification v1.1.
Yes — each business TIN requires its own LHDN-approved X.509 digital certificate, obtained from an approved Certificate Authority (CA) in Malaysia. The cost is typically RM 500–2,000/year depending on the CA. Once obtained, you upload it once in your dashboard Settings. The platform handles signing every invoice automatically from then on — and alerts you 60 days before expiry.
Rejected invoices appear in your dashboard under "LHDN Rejections" with the specific error code (E1–E12) translated into plain English with a suggested fix. For example: "E7 — Tax calculation mismatch: Recalculate line-item tax amounts, check rounding." You correct the data and resubmit with one click — no need to call LHDN or decipher their documentation.
Yes — Premium plan supports multi-entity. Each entity has its own TIN, LHDN credentials, digital certificate, and submission history, all managed under one login. Useful for accounting firms handling multiple clients, or holding companies with several registered subsidiaries.
Note that the 10,000 invoice limit applies to the account total across all entities. Usage above 10,000/month is billed at RM 0.30 per invoice. If you're managing high-volume clients above this threshold, the Custom plan is the right fit — let us know at onboarding.
Premium includes 10,000 invoice submissions per month — that's over 450 invoices every working day. For most high-volume businesses and accounting firms, this is more than sufficient.

All paid plans (Starter through Premium) start with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required. During the trial your invoice limits and all features are active. At the end of 30 days, you're prompted to add a payment method to continue. If you don't, your account switches to Free tier (10 invoices/month). No invoices are deleted — your history is preserved.
Yes. All LHDN credentials (client ID, client secret, certificate, private key) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before being written to the database. The encryption master key is stored separately from the database. Credentials are decrypted in memory only when a submission is being made and are never exposed in API responses — the dashboard masks the secret as "••••••••".

Technical Transparency: The platform is built on .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core 8 with EF Core, deployed on containerized infrastructure (Docker). The live demo runs on Render's free tier with SQLite and sandbox LHDN API mode for testing purposes.
For production accounts, we provision PostgreSQL with proper data retention, enable production LHDN API endpoints (api.myinvois.hasil.gov.my), configure SMTP for alerts, and deploy on paid infrastructure tiers with guaranteed uptime.
